For most people, answering the phone all day can get tiresome. I know at the beginning of my career, I got to the point where I did not want to talk to sellers anymore. They would call right at 8pm in the middle of a good movie and I would have to take the call because I knew it could be a potential deal.

After a year or more of always answering the phone, I had the brilliant idea that I could find someone to take these calls for me. I hired a Virtual Answering Service that had live operators that would read your script and fill in the necessary information for you. It was the best decision I ever made – it totally freed up my time.

The company I use is 1-800-We-Answer. They charge $60 per month and have a free 2-week trial.

I do suggest to not hire an answering service until you have answered the phone for a few weeks/months yourself to get a feel for what questions the sellers ask and how to overcome their objections so you can properly train your answering service.
