When I got started and began recruiting and raising capital for real estate, my first private lender was my brother’s mother-in-law. People say, if you have a business, would you put your mother’s money in it? My answer is absolutely yes. If you could answer yes to that, then everybody around you, your family friends and business associates, are going to invest with you.
